Coordinate the big-ticket items as compatible systems, not separate purchases. Beds, mattresses, lifters, slings and furniture have to work together: a mattress that raises the transfer height too far, or a sling not approved for the installed hoist, is a safety problem discovered late. Confirm ceiling-hoist track layouts and rail positions before walls and ceilings are finished, because retrofitting is harder and sometimes impossible in the ideal position.
