Handle height
Stand upright with arms hanging naturally. Wrists should be at handle height. Too low causes hunching; too high causes shoulder strain. Most folding frames are height-adjustable — adjust before first use.
NDIS funding
Walking frames are common Low Cost AT items funded under NDIS and Home Care Packages. Confirmation from a physio or OT is not always required but is good practice for higher-cost models.

Do I need an occupational therapist assessment?
