Drop-arm over toilet aids
A drop-arm OTA has one or both arms that hinge down. This allows lateral (sideways) transfer from a wheelchair or shower chair — essential when the user cannot stand to transfer. The arm is raised, the user slides across, then the arm is raised back for support.
NDIS funding
OTAs are common AT items funded under NDIS and Home Care Packages. Standard models are typically Low Cost AT. Bariatric or complex models may require a quote.
